The fourth of July parade in Three Lakes is by far one of the best and best attended in the Northwoods!  It is hosted by the Three Lakes Lions Club and they do a terrific job every year.  Make sure you arrive prior to 9:00 AM on the Fourth to get a spot close to the street.  In previous years you could save your spot by placing a chair on the street ahead of time, sometimes as early as in the morning. NOW there are new town rules regarding when you may place a chair(s) on the street to save a spot.  AFTER 12:00AM(midnight) you may place a chair, etc. on the street on July 4th.

After the parade, head over to the Don Burnside park for entertainment, refreshments, food, libations, and vendor’s booths with many different things to purchase.

It has also been stated that Three Lakes has the best fireworks in the area.  They start at dusk on the eve of the Fourth at the Don Burnside Park.  They may be viewed from various locations, one of which there are usually several boats caravanning to Town Line Lake to enjoy the spectacular fireworks!
